Fusion Payments — Privacy policy
Revision: Effective August 8, 2026
What this policy covers
Fusion Payments is a trade name of Generosity LLC, the entity responsible for the information described here. This policy describes how we handle information submitted through this website, fusionpayments.com, through our invoicing portal at invoices.fusionpayments.com, and through our SMS messaging program. Merchant-services relationships — processing accounts, statements, settlement — are governed by separate signed agreements and the rules of the card networks, not by this page. This website does not collect or store cardholder data.
What we collect
Only what you send us. The contact and application forms ask for your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever you choose to write in the message field, along with the selections you make (interest, business type, volume range). When you submit a form we also record the page you sent it from, how you arrived at the site — the referring page, the address you landed on, and any campaign tags in it — your browser type, your approximate location, and your IP address, so we know which channels are reaching business owners. This marketing website itself has no account system and no login.
In our invoicing portal we also collect the mobile number you choose to give us for SMS notifications, together with a record of the consent itself — the date, the time, and the method by which you gave it. We keep that record so we can show, if asked, that you asked for the messages.
Access to the invoicing portal is protected by a hosted authentication service (Auth0, an Okta company), which manages sign-in and stores your credentials. We never see or store your portal password.
What we deliberately do not collect
- No third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels run on this site.
- This marketing website sets no cookies of its own. Our hosting and delivery infrastructure (Cloudflare) may set operational cookies for security and performance; those are governed by Cloudflare's policies. The invoicing portal necessarily sets authentication cookies so that a signed-in session works — those are strictly functional, and are not used for advertising or profiling.
- On this marketing website, fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain — our pages make no third-party requests from your browser.
- We do not operate a customer-relationship-management system, a data warehouse, or an advertising audience platform, and we do not enrich, append to, or resell what you send us.
How we use what you send
Form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and to prepare for the conversation you asked for — for example, reading a processing statement you bring us. We do not sell or rent submitted information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us a question.
Who else touches it
We keep our supplier list deliberately short. The service providers that handle information on our behalf are:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and network security for this website and our portal.
- Auth0 (Okta) — authentication for the invoicing portal.
- Twilio — delivery of the SMS messages described below.
- SendGrid — delivery of transactional and reply email.
Each processes data only to perform that function for us, under contract, and none of them is permitted to use it for their own purposes. Beyond these providers and our sponsor bank and payment processor, we do not share submitted information with anyone, except where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not disclose it to data brokers or advertisers.
SMS and mobile messaging
Fusion Payments sends transactional SMS — invoice notifications, billing alerts, and payment receipts — only to people who have asked for them. There are three ways to opt in, and each of them takes a deliberate act. On our application form at fusionpayments.com/signup, by entering your mobile number and checking a box that is not pre-checked. In our invoicing portal at invoices.fusionpayments.com, where a business that records the mobile number of one of its customers must confirm, on a box that is not pre-checked, that the customer agreed to receive invoice texts from that business — without that confirmation the number cannot be texted. Or by texting START to our messaging number. We do not add anyone to SMS by inference, we do not buy phone numbers, and consent to receive messages is never a condition of buying anything from us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers are disclosed only to the subcontractors that deliver the messages on our behalf — our messaging provider and the mobile carriers — and only so the message can be delivered. We do not sell, rent, or trade mobile numbers, and we never share SMS consent data with anyone for their own use.
Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel, and you will receive one confirmation and nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or reach us at the phone number or email address in the footer of every page. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You can also submit an opt-out request on our opt-out page. The full messaging terms are in our Terms of service.
Payment card data
This website does not collect, process, or store cardholder data. Card payments made against an invoice are captured and authorized by the payment gateways and processing platforms of our sponsor bank and its processors — principally Fiserv — under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. We work with more than one gateway, and which one serves a given merchant is set in that merchant's processing agreement.
Card numbers are held by those platforms, not by us. Generosity LLC does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems, and this website has no access to them.
How we protect it
Traffic to this website and the invoicing portal is encrypted in transit with TLS. Portal credentials are managed by our authentication provider rather than held by us. Access to submitted information is limited to the people at Fusion Payments who need it to answer you or service your account. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if information you gave us is compromised, we will tell you.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept as long as the conversation they belong to is live, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. You can ask us to delete what you have submitted at any time.
Your choices
You can stop SMS at any time by replying STOP, stop email by using the unsubscribe link in any message, or submit either request on our opt-out page. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, use the contact details below.
To review, correct, or delete information you have submitted through this site, email us or call — both are on the contact page and in the footer of every page. We will act on the request and tell you when it is done.
Children
This site is a business-services site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revision date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be stated plainly, not buried.
